What is Hypnosis?
Hypnosis seems so mysterious, but hypnosis happens to us every day. Anytime you are really focused on something, day dreaming, worrying…this is a form of hypnosis. The word actually comes from a word meaning “sleep” but you are not asleep--it is a relaxed state where you are very aware.
Hypnosis is NOT about being controlled, but actually about putting you back in control. By deeply relaxing into a hypnotic state, your conscious mind, where all the worrying and judgements dwell, becomes less active, which allows all the mental clutter to clear away. In this state, your subconscious can uptake positive suggestions and overwrite obsolete programming that no longer serves you.
